ConnexOne licensing is based on protocol features. There are different license options based on what protocols ConnexOne would be allowed to transfer. Here are the lists of licenses:
Base License: Simple file transfer
File Transfer License
SQL License
Video License
Modbus/IOT License
HTTP/S License (Requires two pair of ConnexOne devices)
Current ConnexOne licensing is based on functionality and all licenses are perpetual. You can use all the licensed feature forever. There is no subscription based license as of January 2024
Although we are providing different hardware flavours, selecting correct resource package is usually requires Connexite involvement. Still best informations to pick the right hardware should be provided by the operating bodies.
Important points to be considered for correct hardware positioning includes, protocol set, traffic volume, inspection sets and number of simultaneous transfer. Once these informations are provided, Connexite and partners systems engineer will help you find the correct device set.
